Health benefits: Amino Acids are the building blocks of protein, while most people associate protein with the building of muscle and tissue they form the basis of all living cells so amino acids effect just about every function in the body, depending on the type of cell. Amino Acids also act as intermediaries in metabolism.

Deficiency: Deficiencies are mainly caused by poor diet

Cautions: There are no cautions for this product, but stick to the recommended dose as excess will merely be excreted from the body.

Interesting Fact: Taking specific amino Acids on their own in large doses as a supplement can cause imbalances in the body. For example taking large doses of L-Arginine makes a person more susceptible to the Herpes virus, the most common of which is the Herpes Simplex virus that can cause cold sores. Take L-Lysine along with L-Arginine if you have this problem.
